Mountain bike – Cocoa paste – Reforestation:
We welcome you at either the airport or the train station followed by an hour drive on an interoceanic route.
On a pirogue, we will discover the lake Laberinto, where depending on the weather, we observe many species of local birds.
In the heart of the jungle, we arrive at Marina and Hilters house where we can take a refreshing shower in the nearby stream. Afterwards, we can adventure into the jungle for an hour- to two hour trek along footpaths taking us to the feet of thousand year- old trees. Along the many footpaths we can study some of the extraordinary medicinal plants of the forest. As a souvenir of your visit and to help our goals reforestation, we will plant a tree at the end of our trek. Finally, our last activity will be to a lesson on how to make our organique cocoa paste. After a plaisant day spent with the family, we head in the direction of Puerto Maldonado.
Extra night “HOMESTAY”:
Instead of spending your last night in a hotel without any interest directly in the city of Puerto Maldonado, you can spend your night in a Homestay in our community “Florida Baja”, 47 km away from Puerto Maldonado.
The acommodation is basic but with a lot of confort, bed with moskito net, shower, toilet, electricity, tv, without internet.
